Salt & Stone Studio hits a little different.


At Salt and Stone Pilates, we know that motion is lotion. We ALSO know the mention of the p-word has you automatically clenching your pelvic floor muscles whilst trying to do the splits on a bed that looks like a torture device.

But we aren’t about the image. We aren’t about the brand, or the fitness level, or the prior experience, we don’t care if you were a ballet dancer or the Prime Minister or someone’s grandma.

The truth is, our studio is set apart from the ‘norm’ because it caters to all levels of fitness, weight, experience, ability, disability, and everything else that makes you YOU.


Pilates is for the people. 

The people who are mums. The people who are dads! The people who are transitioning. The people in a wheelchair. The people who until now, have been intimidated by the boujie visions that come to mind when you hear Fergie Ferg say ‘yogalates’.


We all be up in the gym, just workin’ on our fitness.


Our group classes are just that - a group of people doing a class. With highly qualified instructors providing you with a full spectrum of modifications for each and every exercise or movement - without you having to ask. 


Our teachers focus on the individual, not the capabilities.


Don’t know how to engage your core? Neither do the majority of the attendees in the class.

Don’t know what lengthening means? We will personally demonstrate exactly what that means. 


We will meet you wherever you are in that precise moment, and always provide variations and options for how your body responds. Your journey is just that - your own. There is no need to push past your limits or worry what Susan next to you is doing.

It’s a common misconception that to do Pilates you have to have a good grasp and understanding of the exercise. At Salt and Stone, there is no ego. There is no ‘niche’ participant. There is no rank, and there is no ‘better’ or ‘worse’ way to execute a movement. There is only your way, and however that may look for you.
